The trimmers below are in order from best to worst.

This is one of the best trimmers in the world — Regardless of Price.
The LoPROFX is similar to the BaBylissPRO GoldFX, but it has a newer, sleeker, more modern design.
This machine is superior to the Stylecraft Flex, which is superior to the Stylecraft Saber.
The BaBylissPRO Premium Trimmer Guards fit these perfectly which makes it incredible for keeping your beard short and your body groomed.

3) BaByliss LithiumFX - 10/10
The most underrated product from BaByliss. This thing keeps up with the LoPROFX and JRL 2020T — and it absolutely smokes the FX3!
The LithiumFX rivals the new FXOne LoPROFX.
It comes with the same Blue Titanium Standard-Tooth T-Blade found on the new FXOne LoPROFX.
This trimmer is far superior to most of the other trimmers on the market today.
I love the LithiumFX and for the price, it’s definitely worth the buy.
Specifications:
MSRP: $139
Motor: DC motor with a long-life ball bearing
Power: 6,800 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion

4) TPOB X - 10/10
This is a knockoff of the Cocco Pro BLDC, which has been discontinued. The X comes with a better blade and a better price point.
This is one of the best trimmers in the world — Regardless of Price.
The X is a direct knockoff of the Cocco Pro BLDC, but the X has a better blade and costs half the price.
I love the “Crunching” sound this trimmer makes as you cut each individual hair. No other trimmer I’ve used sounds like this.
It has an all metal body and the ergonomics of it are some of the best on the planet.
I own the black TPOB X, and for $111.25 after tax, it’s outstanding.
This machine is superior to the Stylecraft Flex, which is superior to the Stylecraft Saber.
The BaBylissPRO Premium Trimmer Guards fit these perfectly which makes it incredible for keeping your beard short and your body groomed.

MSRP: $95

Blade: PSYCHO Graphite 6.9 top blade (Similar to BaBylissPRO FX) and the Twisted Tooth cutting blade (Similar to Stylecraft’s THE ONE blade)
5) BaByliss SNAPFX - 9.5/10
The fourth best trimmer from BaByliss. Gamma/Stylecraft doesn’t make anything that comes close, aside from the Cyborg.
This is the best FX Flashlight BaByliss product
The upgraded version of the time-tested, Gold Standard, per almost every single barber.
The GoldFX’s were released back in 2018, and they took the world by storm.
This upgraded version has a beautiful charging stand, removable batteries, and an awesome Ring Light LED battery indicator.
Far superior to the Boost+, which doesn’t come with a stand or a battery indicator that works while the trimmer is being used.
Do not buy the original GOLDFX or the Boost+ when this is available for only a few dollars more!!
There are two different batteries for the SNAPFX:
Blue which is standard capacity
Green which has a 30% higher capacity
Specifications:
MSRP: $199
Motor: Brushless
Power: 7,200 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion (3300 mAh) x 2!
Run Time: 4 hours x 2!

6) JRL FreshFade 2020T - 9.5/10
Better than the best from BaByliss, Gamma/Stylecraft, and TPOB. I love absolutely everything about this perfect machine!
Hands down the best trimmer in the world — Regardless of Price!
Many say these are an upgrade from the BaBylissPRO GoldFX, SilverFX, and GTX-EXO. I totally agree!
Straight out of the box, they bald-out better than anything.
Even quieter than the Stylecraft Saber, which is known to be one of the quietest.
They look like an Aston Martin while everything else on the market looks like a Honda or Ford in comparison.
Some say that these don’t cut sharp lines even after adjusting them, but mine are excellent!
I simply can’t express how amazing this product is! I absolutely love it!
This product would be even better if it came with:
1) A Charging Stand (You can buy it HERE on Amazon)
2) Trimmer Guards (You can buy the BaByliss Trimmer Guards HERE on Amazon)
3) USB-C Charging Port (This should be standard on all trimmers and clippers)
Specifications:
MSRP: $110 (Silver) and $115 (Gold)
Motor: Superior / Quiet Motor (They don’t provide Rotary, Brushless, or Magnetic details)
Power: 7,200 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 2 hours
Charge Time: 2 hours
Battery Indicator: Yes (The logo lights up)
Charging Port: Standard
Charging Stand: No
Guards: No (The BaBylissPRO Trimmer Guards fit this perfectly!)
Colors: 2 / Black and Silver, or Black and Gold
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Stainless Steel T-Blade with “Cool Blade Technology”
7) Gamma+ Cyborg - 9.5/10
Makes its cousin (the Saber) look like an afterthought. The ONLY product from Gamma/Stylecraft I would ever buy again!
Easily one of the best on the market, with one fatal flaw (cannot use trimmer guards with it).
I had a really nice conversation with ConcisetheBarber from YouTube, and he said this was #1 on his list.
Gamma’s version of the Stylecraft Saber.
Newer than the Saber and far superior in every conceivable way!
It has four lights on the trimmer to show you the power supply, just like the BaBylissPRO FX3 — which should be standard on all trimmers!
Specifications:
MSRP: $199
Motor: Brushless
Power: 7,500 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 3 hours
Charge Time: 1.5 hours
Battery Indicator: 4 LED’s
Charging Port: 2 / Standard and USB-C
Charging Stand: Anti-slip LED-lit Docking Station
Guards: No
Colors: 1 / Brushed Aluminum
Body: Metal
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Stainless-Steel X-Pro Wide Top Blade, and The One DLC Deep Tooth Cutting Blade
8) TPOB XO - 9.5/10
This is a knockoff of the Cocco Pro Hyper Veloce, but it comes with a better blade and a better price point.
This is the second best trimmer from TPOB.
The XO is a direct knockoff of the Cocco Pro Veloce, but the X has a better blade and costs half the price.
I love the “Crunching” sound this trimmer makes as you cut each individual hair. No other trimmer I’ve used sounds like this.
It has an all metal body and the ergonomics of it are some of the best on the planet.
The BaBylissPRO Premium Trimmer Guards fit these perfectly which makes it incredible for keeping your beard short and your body groomed.
Specifications:
MSRP: $129
Motor: Brushless
Power: 7,200 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 4 hours
Charge Time: 1.5 hours
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: USB-C
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: No
Colors: 2 / Black or Green
Body: Metal
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: PSYCHO Graphene 6.9
9) Supreme Trimmer Vader - 9.5/10
One of the best all-around trimmers in the world for the price. It destroys most trimmers that cost $150+!!
The Vader is easily the best trimmer on the market for the price. Period.
If you’re on a budget and want an outstanding all-around product, there’s nothing that even comes close.
I got these on sale at Amazon for $68 after tax, and I like them more than anything below!
These come with a charging stand, trimmer guards, and a USB-C charging port which is what every company should be doing!
Regardless of the price, the Vader is one of the best all around trimmers in the world today.
I absolutely love this product!!
Specifications:
MSRP: $79
Motor: Brushless
Power: 7,000 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 3.5 hours
Charge Time: 3 hours
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: USB-C
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Yes
Colors: 2 / Red or Black
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Graphite DLC T-Blade that’s just like the BaBylissPRO FX (Even the BaBylissPRO Premium Trimmer Guards fit these).
10) Stylecraft Rebel - 9/10
Hands down the best Stylecraft branded trimmer. Yes, I said it!
This product is pretty great for such a terrible brand.
It is priced correctly at $140, and I think it’s the best product from Stylecraft by a long shot!
In comparison, the Saber should cost $100 and the Flex should cost $120.
Same product as the Gamma Absolute Hitter ($129) and the Stylecraft Absolute Hitter ($129), but the Rebel comes with an upgraded blade and some really great accessories in the box.
Specifications:
MSRP: $139
Motor: Super-torque (Not sure if it’s rotary, but I think it is)
Power: 7,500 SPM (Strokes per minute)
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 3 hours
Charge Time: 1.5 hours
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Micro-USB
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: No
Colors: 3 Interchangeable / Black, Blue, and Pink
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Stainless Steel X-PRO Wide fixed blade, and a Black Diamond Carbon DLC 2.0 shallow tooth cutting blade
11) Stylecraft Flex - 9/10
This is superior to the Saber, but not quite as nice as the Rebel.
This product is superior to the Stylecraft Saber, and is the second best trimmer from Stylecraft after the Rebel.
Newer than the Saber, which is the most overrated trimmer on the market today.
The plastic casing of this product is VERY cheap feeling, and it doesn’t feel like a $150 product.
The overall ergonomics and design of this machine are excellent.
If this came with a metal body (I think Matte Black, Matte Gray, and Matte Navy Blue would look amazing), this would be a 9.5 out of 10.
Similar in size to the Gamma X-EVO, but this is a superior product across the board.
Based on my expectation and their reputation, the Flex is one of the most anticlimactic trimmers I’ve ever purchased. It’s just not as quality as I had originally hoped, and feel like the products above are much nicer all-around.
Specifications:
MSRP: $149
Motor: Rotary
Power: 7,500 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 3 hours
Charge Time: 1.5 hours
Battery Indicator: 3 LED’s
Charging Port: 2 / Standard and Micro-USB
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Yes
Colors: 3 Interchangeable / Black, Pink, and Blue
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Gold Titanium X-Pro Classic Top Blade, and The One Black Diamond Carbon DLC Deep Tooth Cutting Blade
12) BaByliss FX Boost+ - 8.5/10
Superior to the Saber (Which isn’t saying much), but the LoPROFX, LithiumFX, and SNAPFX smoke this!
The upgraded version of the time-tested, Gold Standard, per almost every single barber.
The GoldFX’s were released back in 2018, and they took the world by storm.
The Boost+ is very similar to the original GoldFX ($184), but for $5 more, it has a nice rubber grip.
Based on my expectation and their reputation, the BoostFX is one of the most disappointing trimmers I’ve ever purchased.
This has an MSRP of $189, which is crazy. It feels like a $95 product next to the TPOB X and the JRL 2020T.
If you want a BaBylissPRO Charging Stand, that will set you back an additional $39.
$189 + $39 = $228 before tax. This makes no sense when the SNAPFX is only $199 and it’s a superior product.
There is no way I would ever recommend this product to anyone. If it came with the stand and cost $130, I would consider it as a contender in that price range.
Specifications:
MSRP: $189
Motor: Brushless
Power: 7,200 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion (3300 mAh)
Run Time: 4 hours
Charge Time: Not Sure
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Standard
Charging Stand: No
Guards: No
Colors: 2 / Black or Gold
Body: Metal with Diamond-Textured Rubber Handle
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: DLC Deep-Tooth T-Blade
13) TPOB Troll (Gray 2.0) - 8/10
This is a knockoff of the original BaBylissPRO LoPROFX. The Gray 2.0 comes with their Psycho blade, which is amazing, and no brick to even charge the device.
The TPOB Troll is a similar product to the BaByliss LoPROFX (But not even close to as nice).
I own a pair of the Troll’s and I think they’re great for the price.
They also look amazing with TPOB’s branding.
The TROLL doesn’t come with trimmer guards, but you can buy the BaBylissPRO Premium Trimmer Guards (FX797,FX787, FX726) for only $16 on Amazon, and they fit perfectly.
Aside from the Supreme Trimmer Vader ($80), the TPOB TROLL is the best bang for your buck out of any trimmer under $100.
The Vader does come with more goodies (A stand, guards, USB-C charging port, more power, better ergonomics), but the TROLL is still a very nice trimmer.
Specifications:
MSRP: $89
Motor: Brushless
Power: 6,800 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 3 hours
Charge Time: 1 hour
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Standard
Charging Stand: No
Guards: No
Colors: 3 / Black, Neon Pink, and Neon Green are in the box are in the box
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: PSYCHO Graphite 6.9 top blade (Similar to BaBylissPRO FX) and the Twisted Tooth cutting blade (Similar to Stylecraft’s THE ONE blade).
14) Stylecraft Saber - 8/10
Your favorite YouTubers are LYING TO YOU!! I wouldn’t spend a dollar more than $100 for this mediocre machine.
The trimmer that supposedly “Dethroned” the original BaByliss GoldFX Skeleton’s. I think the GoldFX, SilverFX, etc. is a superior machine.
Most reviewers say it’s the best trimmer of all time before the Cyborg came out. I totally disagree.
The Saber is the most overrated trimmer I’ve ever purchased. I do not like it and don’t recommend for to anyone.
It comes with a really cheap stand, bad square ergonomics, and a blade that you can’t even use Trimmer Guards with it.
The Cyborg is the same price, and it’s a much nicer, more substantial machine.
The BaBylissPRO SNAPFX, JRL 2020T, TPOB X, and Stylecraft Flex are all superior to this trimmer.
I don’t think the Saber is worth $189-199 when the TPOB X is a far nicer machine for $104.
The gold blade on the Gold Version feeds through hair better than the black blade on the Black Version.
Heavy duty, full metal body with a square design.
The items above, regardless of what all the other barbers and reviewers say, are far superior to the Stylecraft Saber.
Specifications:
MSRP: $199
Motor: Brushless
Power: 7,500 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 4 hours
Charge Time: 1.5 hours
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: 2 / Standard plus Micro-USB
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: No
Colors: 2 / Black or Gold
Body: Metal
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Black Diamond Carbon DLC X-PRO Wide Top Blade and THE ONE Deep Tooth Cutting Blade
15) Gamma X-EVO - 8/10
Magnetic motors should never go in a trimmer or clipper.
Many say this is their favorite trimmer, but they’re way overpriced at $159.
They should be priced at $80-90, because that’s where they stand.
They pull hair and drag while trying to de-bulk bc a magnetic motor isn’t good in a trimmer (I felt this with my regular EVO’s and this X-EVO).
This trimmer would be outstanding if it came with a brushless or standard rotary motor.
Excellent ergonomics, good blade, and a bad motor is what the X-EVO is all about.
It comes with a stand with a pass-through cord that can also be used for corded operation.
SeanCutsHair on YouTube said they’re #5 in his top five trimmers from the company (That’s last place!).
Stylecraft and TPOB don’t make an upgraded version of this.
Stylecraft has the EVO.
TPOB had the Demon before discontinuing it.
Specifications:
MSRP: $159
Motor: Magnetic
Power: 10,000 SPM (Strokes per minute - not RPM)
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 2 hours
Charge Time: 1 hour
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Micro-USB
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Not Sure
Colors: 3 / Matte Chrome, Matte Gold, and Matte Rose Gold
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Ultimate 2.0 fixed blade with Black Diamond Carbon DLC deep tooth cutting blade.
16) Cocco Pro Hyper Veloce - 7.5/10
Nowhere near as nice as the TPOB X or Cocco BLDC. The USB-C charging port on mine doesn’t even work. Cocco is slipping and I don’t recommend their products.
The Veloce and Hyper Veloce are not a step up from the BLDC (which has been knocked off and improved by TPOB with the X).
There is not a knockoff of the Veloce yet, which is nice to see.
The regular Veloce ($160) doesn’t come with a charging stand but the Hyper Veloce ($195) does.
The issue with the Hyper Veloce is it comes in four silly “bright” colors which don’t look nice in my opinion.
The regular Veloce comes in really nice darker colors, but it doesn’t have a stand.
It has two charging ports and the USB-C at the bottom doesn’t even work.
The way this thing feels in my hands is nice, but when you turn it on, there is a strong delay which isn’t nice to live with.
This is a mediocre product that’s worth about $90-100 at most. I do not recommend Cocco products to anyone.
Specifications:
MSRP: $195
Motor: Brushless
Power: 7,200 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 2 hours
Charge Time: 3 hours
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: 2 / Standard & USB-C (Which doesn’t even work)
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: No
Colors (With a stand): 4 / Dark Teal, Green, Orange, Yellow
Colors (Without a stand): 4 / Matte Black, Matte Gray, Pearl White, Gold,
Body: All-Metal Aluminum Alloy housing
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Digital Gap™ Ambassador DLC Blade
17) Wahl Hi-Viz - 7.5/10
I sold this mediocre trimmer to my buddy for $80, because that’s what I think it’s worth. Not even a top 15 trimmer.
Right in the bottom-middle of the pack.
Wahl has a long way to go if they believe this is what $200 looks and feels like.
Yes, the Hi-Viz is a step up from the Gold Detailer Li. Nevertheless, that isn’t saying much in 2023.
The Gamma Cyborg costs the same but feels like it should cost $80-100 more.
The BaBylissPRO SNAPFX and FXOne LoPROFX are superior devices in every conceivable way. So is the JRL 2020T.
I do not recommend anything from Wahl, aside from their premium clipper guards (which are fantastic), the Magic Clip clippers, and the Senior clippers.
Specifications:
MSRP: $199
Motor: Adaptive Speed Control (They don’t say if it’s Rotary, Brushless, Magnetic, or Vector)
Power: 7,200 RPM
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 135 minutes
Charge Time: 45 minutes
Battery Indicator: 3 LED’s
Charging Port: 2 / Standard and USB-C
Charging Stand: Yes (Weighted)
Guards: No
Colors: 1 / Silver
Body: Metal
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: Wide T-blade with diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings
18) Wahl Gold Detailer Li - 7.5/10
A hollow, lightweight, cheaply built plastic trimmer. It comes with a very nice stand and an extremely high price tag.
This is a very cheap and hollow feeling trimmer that should cost no more than $110-120.
Some of the top barbers swear they’re the best all around trimmers available, and I don’t think those barbers have ever owned anything aside from it.
Runs corded or cordless.
Comes with three trimmer guards, a charging stand, and a Pro-Set Tool to help you zero gap the blade.
This is the definition of “Middle of the line.”
Specifications:
MSRP: $189
Motor: Full-sized clipper motor (They don’t say if it’s Rotary, Brushless, Magnetic, or Vector)
Power: 7,025 RPM (They don’t say it anywhere on their website, so I tested it myself)
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 100 minutes
Charge Time: 45 minutes
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Standard (Can run corded or cordless)
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Yes
Colors: Gold with black details
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: No
Blade: T-Wide Blade with Titanium and DLC coatings
19) Andis GTX-EXO - 7/10
The “Big Ugly’s” as I like to call them. There is nothing great about this product. Don’t even waste your time considering it.
These are without question the ugliest and least ergonomic trimmers I’ve ever seen, smelled, or touched. I don’t like to hold them. I don’t like to look at them.
Regardless, they’re one of the best products ever made by Andis, and that’s saying something about the company.
I simply cannot stand how short and fat these things are in my hand compared to everything else on the marked.
The way the blade floats like it does makes them look broken to most pedestrians.
They are known to bog down while balding-out, unlike a lot of the trimmers above (Especially the JRL).
Similar to the pro standard T-Outliner, but this model has been upgraded in a lot of ways.
This newer model fixed most of the issues found on the older versions.
Better-than-ever GTX-Z blades are retooled to cut closer than before.
Can be zero-gapped (Which is a nightmare with these) and the blade is finished in Gold.
Comes with an extremely nice charging stand (probably the nicest on the market), and some trimmer guards.
I had a pair of the original corded version over a decade ago, and I didn’t love them.
I bought this new version on sale from Amazon for $104 on 09-06-2023, and returned them immediately.
Specifications:
MSRP: $165
Motor: Rotary
Power: 7,200 MAX SPM (Strokes per minute - not RPM)
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 100 minutes
Charge Time: Not Sure
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Standard
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Yes
Colors: 1 / Black
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: Yes
Blade: GTX-Z Carbon-Steel Blade
20) Wahl Retro T-Cut - 7/10
This is Wahl’s version of the Slimline Pro Li, and this is far superior!
Wahl is better a better brand than Andis, and these are their version of the Slimline Pro Li.
Definitely a step up from the Andis Slimline Pro Li, which is very cheaply made, and super weak.
Plenty of the reviewers on YouTube say these are superior to the Slimline, and after owning both, I completely agree.
The on/off switch is much nicer than the Slimline Pro, but there’s no indicator on the body or the stand to let you know when they’re done charging.
The biggest issue with this product is the NiMH battery. The technology is inferior to Lithium-Ion because it won’t hold a charge if it stays unplugged for a few weeks.
I did reach out to Wahl Corporate regarding the charging stand, and this was their reply:
“The trimmer may be plugged in at all times to retain the full charge on the unit at all times. If you take it off the charger it will eventually start to lose some of the battery reserve, but will not deplete in full unless it is for a en extended period.”
You can’t use them plugged in.
Specifications:
MSRP: $82
Motor: Rotary
Power: 7,200 RPM
Battery: NiMH (Inferior to Lithium-Ion)
Run Time: 1 hour
Charge Time: Not Sure
Battery Indicator: No
Charging Port: Standard
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Yes
Colors: 1 / Maroon
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: No
Blade: T-Wide Blade
21) Andis Slimline Pro Li - 6.5/10
It’s shocking that any reviewer would tell the public that this is a worthwhile machine. It’s simply not worth your money.
One of the cheapest products I’ve ever used. It feels like a toy make for a five year old child.
The problem is the cheap plastic casing, the cheap on/off switch, and the really weak 6000 RPM motor.
They come with a charging stand (which is really cheap feeling), a light on the button to let you know when they’re finished charging, and you can use them plugged in.
These are better than the newer Slimline Pro GTX because the blade on the original Li actually works with this incredibly weak motor.
Bottom of the barrel — Worst of the worst!
I do not recommend this product at all.
Specifications:
MSRP: $72
Motor: Rotary
Power: MAX 6,000 SPM (Strokes per minute) which is VERY weak
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 2 hours
Charge Time: Not Sure
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Standard
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Yes
Colors: 2 / Chrome (Brushed aluminum look) or Black
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: No
Blade: Carbon-Steel T-blade
22) Andis Slimline Pro GTX - 6.5/10
As cheap as a toy for a five year old child. This product should not exist.
Not as good as the original Li, which is much better than these at de-bulking because of the blade.
The upgraded GTX blade isn’t a good upgrade on the Slimline because of how weak and cheap this product is.
It gets bogged down when moving quickly because of the weak motor, and pushes hair away because of the GTX blade.
Bottom of the barrel — Worst of the worst!
I do not recommend this product at all.
Specifications:
MSRP: $83
Motor: Rotary
Power: MAX 6,000 SPM (Strokes per minute) which is VERY weak
Battery: Lithium-Ion
Run Time: 2 hours
Charge Time: Not Sure
Battery Indicator: Yes
Charging Port: Standard
Charging Stand: Yes
Guards: Yes
Colors: 1 / Chrome (Brushed aluminum look)
Body: Plastic
360 Skeleton: No
Blade: Wide GTX stainless-steel blade with deep tooth pattern
23) Caliber .22 Stinger - 6/10
This is one of my least favorite trimmers. Sadly, it’s a better trimmer than the products below.
This one of the worst all-around trimmers I’ve ever used. Regardless, it’s superior to the 4MAS Kion 2.0, BaByliss FX3, and Andis Slimline Pro.
I hate the way this trimmer cuts (or tries to cut) straight out of the box.
The .22 Stinger has a magnetic motor (which is not good), and a blade that feels like a razor blade (It’s ridiculous).
A magnetic motor sounds good in theory, but they’re pretty terrible in a trimmer. I don’t like them at all and would choose a traditional rotary motor or a brushless motor any day.
The Japanese blades are extremely sharp, even when they’re powered off.
If you’re heavy-handed, stay away from these because they’re pretty painful even with a little bit of pressure.
The Andis T-Outliner blade fits this if you want something a little less sharp.
You can usually find these on sale for around $90-100 if you shop around, but I wouldn’t even bother.
More features than just about any other trimmer on the market.
About the same length as the Wahl Cordless Detailer but a little bit thicker around.
Comes with a really long charging cord and “Over-charging / Over-using protection” technology
I like the matte black housing, but the shiny/polished gold and silver plastic looks absolutely terrible. They need to be matte to reduce smudges and reflections.
Their .50 Cal BMG Clippers ($195) might be great, but I don’t like these trimmers at all.

24) BaBylissPRO FX3 - 5.5/10
Not worth more than $60-70 at most. The only product this is superior to is the 4MAS Kion 2.0.
This is one of the worst trimmers on the planet.
The way it cuts, feels, and sounds is similar to other products that cost $70.
The BaByliss Boost+, FX, and FX+ are highly overrated, but the FX3 is even worse.
Skip everything from BaByliss and go for the LoPROFX models!
The problem with the original red version is they’re incredibly sharp and can break the skin if you’re not careful.
The blade on the newer black version is nowhere near as sharp, and it does not hit right out of the box.
The sound of this trimmer is awful. One of the worst sounding trimmers I’ve ever heard.
There are no trimmer guards that fit this product, and there isn’t a stand anywhere that will work with it.
The only thing I like about the FX3 is it includes four LED’s for the battery indicator. The problem with this is they glitch when you flip the power switch!
Bottom of the barrel — Worst of the worst!
I do not recommend this product at all.

25) 4MAS Kion 2.0 - 5/10
An absolute joke of a trimmer from a company who doesn’t stand behind their products.
Beware: Easily the worst products and customer service out of any trimmer and clipper manufacturer in the world.
The Kion 2.0 is their best product, and they’re charging $149 for a trimmer that should cost no more than $60. It’s a piece of junk.
The Supreme Trimmer Vader smokes the Kion 2.0, and it’s half the price!
I spent my hard earned money on a Black on Red Kion 2.0, hoping that I was going to receive a great product. What they sent me was scratched up, it had a white brick that didn’t match the product, and they even shipped me a cheap blue power cord that you can find on Amazon for a dollar!?! 🤷♂️
They only offer a store credit and will NOT issue you a refund for any reason. They sent me a used, banged up and scratched up trimmer that cost me over $100! That’s the sign of a terrible company that doesn’t stand behind their products!
I obviously don’t want anything else from them — I already purchased the best trimmer they sell, and it’s a piece of trash. Literally one of the worst trimmers on the market.
When I contacted them, they had the nerve to “Pee-wee Herman” me, with the whole “I know you are but what am I” childish nonsense…
They began arguing with me over text, saying:
“Yeah right, the Kion is the best. It runs at 7,600 RPM and that it’s 360 degree skeletoned.”
You’re joking me right?!?! 🙇♂️🤦♂️
I tested the crappy thing, and it actually runs at 5,894 RPM! It’s not 360 degree skeletoned, it’s 180 degree! These idiots treat their customers like crap, and as we all know… What goes around, comes around.
This company is a joke. Stay away from 4MAS.
Their products are just as bad as the customer service that represents them.
